Swyft

Refund Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for ticket purchases made through Swyft. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to this policy. Refund eligibility depends on the event organizer's policies and applicable law.

2. Organizer-Set Refund Policies

Each event organizer on Swyft sets their own refund policy. The organizer's refund policy is displayed on the event page before purchase. If an organizer does not specify a policy, the default policy in Section 3 applies.

3. Default Refund Policy

Unless the organizer specifies otherwise, the following default policy applies: Full refunds are available if requested at least 7 days before the event start time. Refunds requested between 3 and 7 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds are available within 3 days of the event, except where required by law or if the event is cancelled by the organizer.

4. Event Cancellation by Organizer

If an event is cancelled by the organizer, attendees will receive a full refund of the ticket price and all fees. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Swyft is not liable for travel, accommodation, or other incidental costs associated with attending a cancelled event.

5. Event Postponement or Reschedule

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets remain valid for the new date. Attendees who cannot attend the rescheduled date may request a refund within 7 days of the reschedule announcement. If no new date is announced within 60 days, attendees are eligible for a full refund.

6. Event Materially Changed

If an organizer makes a material change to an event (such as a change of venue, headliner, or significant schedule change), attendees may request a full refund within 7 days of the change announcement. Minor changes (such as set times or opening acts) do not qualify for a refund.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable except where required by law: Processing fees for completed transactions, tickets for events that have already taken place, tickets that have been used or checked in, and tickets that have been transferred to another user.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, go to My Tickets, select the ticket or order, and tap "Request Refund." If the request meets the organizer's policy criteria, the refund will be processed through Stripe to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. If your request is denied, you will be notified with the reason.

9. Processing Times

Refunds are processed by Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days. Some banks may take longer. Swyft is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment processor.

10. Denied Refund Requests

If your refund request is denied by the organizer, you may contact Swyft support through the Contact Us page. Swyft will review the request and may, at its sole discretion, escalate the matter to the organizer or mediate the dispute. Swyft's role is limited to facilitation and does not guarantee a favorable outcome.

11. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Initiating a chargeback for a valid purchase may result in account suspension and ticket cancellation. If Swyft resolves the issue, a chargeback may not be necessary.

12. Legal Rights

Some jurisdictions provide consumers with statutory rights to refunds that cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable legal rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
